Mac & Cheese Mondays

 This community-based-event was developed to raise awareness for the needs of resource deficient individuals. What originally started as simply providing comfort food (and water) to those on the green quickly turned into something much greater. Each week, citizens could receive food, clothing items, sanitary items, socks, hand warmers, and bookbags. Residents also received information on warming centers and mental health services. At its finale, Stallworth Counseling provided full plates of food, a canned goods section, and a gently used clothes drive. Collectively, we served over 800 pounds of food and served over 500 families. This father-son effort received an Offical Citation from the City of Waterbury
